Structural Design Engineer position

<p>Complete design tasks as allocated by Superintendent/ Design Manager.<br/>Produce production details in conjunction with relevant line managers.<br/>Ensure designs comply with technical specification.<br/>Ensure designs comply with Class and Flag requirements.<br/>Assist with conducting inclining experiments, lightship survey.</p>

<p>*Quality/ Standard;<br/>Work produced is of a high quality and consistent with Austal and Design standards.<br/>Tasks are undertaken as per the approved process and procedures.<br/>Rework is kept to an absolute minimum.<br/><br/>*Qualification, Technical Skills & Experience:<br/>Bachelor of Engineering (Naval Architect) or equivalent<br/>Knowledge of regulatory body Rules and Regulations requirements.<br/>> 3 years relevant experience.<br/>Experience in Drafting within the Marine Industry (Shipbuilding is referred).<br/>Proficient in Drafting software, Autocad, Shipconstructor and Microsoft office suite.<br/>Basic understanding of materials and their compatibility in a marine environment.<br/>Be skilled in 3D modeling.<br/>Proficient both in Vietnamese & English: listening, speaking, reading and writing</p>
