Hydraulic Engineering:
- Design and document hydraulic systems including water supply, sanitary plumbing, stormwater drainage, trade waste, and fire hydrant systems.
- Ensure compliance with NZ/AU codes and standards (e.g., AS/NZS 3500, NCC, NZBC).
- Perform calculations for pipe sizing, water demand, and system flow rates.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop coordinated services.
BIM Modeling & Coordination:
- Develop and manage hydraulic models using Revit and AutoCAD.
- Prepare detailed and coordinated 3D models and 2D documentation.
- Lead clash detection and resolution processes using Navisworks or similar tools.
- Support BIM workflows, content development, and project setup.
- Coordinate hydraulic designs with architecture, structure, and other building services.
Project Collaboration:
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and designers in both local and remote teams.
- Attend coordination meetings and provide technical input.
- Support QA/QC processes to ensure accurate and consistent documentation.
Yêu cầu ứng viên
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental/ Hydraulic Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or equivalent.
- 3+ years of experience in hydraulic design and BIM modeling for NZ/AU projects.
- Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
- Strong understanding of NZ/AU building codes and hydraulic standards.
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
- Experience working with remote/international design teams is a plus.
