  Mô tả công việc

  • Responsible for providing professional engineering services, predominantly Drafting to Adra Group customers under the supervision of senior mechanical and structural engineers and draftspersons.
  • Undertake drawing of industrial plant as per instructions from Team Leader. Drawing types include:
    • ductwork
    • mechanical components
    • pipework, P&ID’s
    • platforms/stairways
    • basic structures


  • Carry out minor design of plant/structures in conjunction with team leader.
  • Exercise judgement and initiative in the application of engineering drafting principles, techniques and methods to achieve project/task outcomes.
  • Identify, assist and/or develop technical systems within the business that improve productivity and quality.
  • Act within Adra Groups quality system, policies, procedures and technical standards.

  Yêu cầu ứng viên

  • Mechanical / Structural Engineering Associate Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in mechanical and structural design
  • Considerable level of expertise & knowledge in Engineering Design & Drafting techniques.
  • Proven ability to work in a close team environment with experience in developing and maintaining relationships with team members.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Candidates with working experience in professional English environment are preferred.
  • Ability to use conceptual and analytical skills to interpret and apply industry standards and best practice research to projects.
  • A commitment to continued professional development
  • Some working knowledge of Australian Standard AS1100 preferred but not essential
  • Basic Knowledge of Drawing Numbering systems.
  • Ability to liaise with team lead and work in a team environment
  • Knowledge of CAD is essential, preferred platforms are AutoCAD 2D, Autodesk Inventor 3D
  • Ability to work independently in a disciplined & safe manner.

  • Development Plan and Assessment with the Engineering Services Line Manager at least quarterly. Key performance indicators will be discussed as part of this process.
  • A competitive salary packed will be negotiated and will be detailed in the Employee Contract.
  • Opportunity for flexible working arrangements will be negotiated.
  • Hours of duty will be according to work requirements and initially the role will be 5 days per week.
  • The position is based in Vung Tau City and it is expected that the Mechanical/Structural Designer will reliably commute to the office base.
